Swim Lessons

We are pleased to offer our progressive swimming classes of instruction for children 6 months and older.  Our well-trained staff is dedicated to ensuring an enjoyable learning experience for your child.  Students learn how to swim through skill progression from bobs and floating, to jumping into deep water and safely swimming to the edge of the pool.  Class size varies depending on the group level.

Group Lessons fall

8- 1/2 hour classes:  Group lessons: tadpole, lil shrimp, starfish, guppy, otter, & stingray.

La Grande resident $40.00; and non-resident, $45.00.  Four participants are required to offer the class.

Jan. 2-25 classes taught T/TH     -     registration opens 11-17-17 ends 12-24-17

Jan. 30 - Feb. 22 classes taught T/TH      -     registration opens 12-25-17 ends 1-21-18

Mar. 6-29 classes taught T/TH     -     registration opens 1-29-18 ends 2-25-18

Apr. 3-26 classes taught T/TH     -     registration opens 2-26-18 ends 3-25-18

May 1-24 classes taught T/TH     -     registration opens 3-26-18 ends 4-22-18

Evening classes taught between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Private swim lessons: One student to one instructor taught on the same days as group lessons and around the same time frame.

La Grande residents $125.00 and non-residents $145.00.  If your interested in private lessons for you or your child call Teresa at 541-962-1367 to get your name on our waiting list.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you already have a child in a session and you want to register them for the next session, please check with the instructor half way through the session and they will know if they think your child will move up a class level or have to repeat the same level.  This will give you more time to get registered for the next session before it fills up.  You must wait to sign up for another class after you have found out if your child will repeat the level that they are in or move up a level in order to register for the next appropriate class.  If you try signing up for classes a head of time and your child did not pass the previous class level, then the class he/she needs might be full and we will not be able to move them into the class needed and they will have to wait for another session.

Lesson Descriptions: If your child can do a few of the skills listed but not all of them, then that is the class that they should be in.  Make sure to check the age allowed for the class.
